Our data collection follows the principle of data minimization — we process only what is necessary to deliver the Services.

Technical metadata necessary for platform stability, including IP addresses, device identifiers, operating system information, and performance metrics. This data is typically processed in real-time and is not retained unless you voluntarily submit feedback.

C. Voice and Text Content

When using Wegen, we process your voice audio and text input to deliver AI-powered transcription and content generation. We employ a real-time processing mechanism: your audio is sent to our cloud servers and is immediately discarded once the result is returned to your device. We do not permanently store your voice recordings. Transcriptions and AI-generated text outputs are stored as part of your conversation history so you can access them later.

D. Third-Party Accounts

You may connect third-party accounts (such as Google or Apple) to Wegen for authentication. We only receive basic identifying information based on the permissions you grant. You may revoke this access at any time through the third-party platform's settings.

E. Payment Information

All in-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Clattice Technology does not directly collect, store, or process your payment card details or banking information. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle payment data.

F. Other Information

Data provided voluntarily through participation in surveys, feedback submissions, or direct communication with us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Service Operation: To provide, maintain, monitor, and protect the Wegen platform. Voice audio is processed with zero retention — recordings are deleted immediately after processing.
  • Communication: To provide customer and technical support, and to send service-related notifications.
  • Administration: Handling account management and fulfilling legal obligations.
  • Compliance and Safety: To fulfill legal requirements, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
  • Service Improvement: To refine features and align Wegen's capabilities with user needs.
  • Marketing: To send promotional materials. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in our emails.

Lawful Basis for Processing: We process data based on contractual necessity (to provide the Service), legitimate business interests (provided they do not override your rights), legal obligations, and user consent.

4. Data Retention

We follow the principle of data minimization and do not keep data longer than necessary.

  • Voice Recordings: Strict zero retention. Audio inputs are discarded immediately after the transcription or generation result is delivered. No voice recordings are stored on our servers.
  • Conversation History: Text content (your messages and AI responses) is stored in your account so you can access your conversation history. This data is deleted when you delete a conversation or your account.
  • Account Data: We retain email and profile information as long as your account is active and as needed to fulfill service obligations, resolve disputes, and comply with legal requirements.
  • Feedback: Diagnostic information provided in feedback is retained only until the issue is resolved.

5. Data Transfer

Wegen operates within a global cloud computing infrastructure. To provide the Services, your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside your local jurisdiction, including in the United States, where data protection laws may differ.

By using the Services, you consent to this cross-border transfer. Clattice Technology takes reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and that adequate safeguards are in place.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Vendors handling cloud hosting, AI processing, and communications. This includes third-party LLM providers; we ensure these providers are configured for zero retention so your data is not used for training their models or stored beyond immediate processing.
  • Legal and Compliance: To comply with the law, protect the rights and safety of Clattice Technology and its users, or respond to government requests.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in reliance on our legitimate business interests.
